Comments
Comment (Deposit): STRIKE & DIP GIVEN FOR PHYLLITE. STRIKE CHANGES TO N50-60 E IN GRANITE. QUARTZ OCCURS IN VEINS, BERYL IN VEINLETS AND ON OUTER EDGES OF VEINS.
Comment (Workings): 2 ADITS ON 3 VEINS ABOUT 75 FT DEEP AND 150-300 FT LONG. ON GRANITE ON N45W STRIKING ZONE HAS BEEN OPENED BY A SURFACE CUT 18 X 25 X 15 FT.
Comment (Geology): THE PHYLLITE IS PART OF A PENDANT IN THE GRANITE ABOUT 0.5 MI WIDE AND SEVERAL MILES LONG TO NE. ONLY QUARTZ VEINS NEAR CENTER OF PHYLLITE BELT CONTAIN TUNGSTEN OF COMMERCIAL VALUE. HEAVIEST CONCENTRATION OF TUNGSTEN OCCURS ON NW SIDE OF GRANITE; SOME DISSEMINATED THROUGH SW PART OF GRANITE.
