Comment (Location): W SIDE OF LOW RIDGE, SRN END OF A RIDGE
Comment (Deposit): THE JACKSON MINE WAS DISCOVERED IN 1906. THE ORE OCCURS AS REPLACEMENTS IN LIMESTONE; THE PROPERTY IS DEVELOPED BY TUNNELS, SHORT SHAFTE, DRIFTS STOPES, AND THE JACKSON SHAFT WHICH EXPLORES TO A DEPTH OF 250 FT WITH 6 LEVELS. THE ORE BODIES ARE IN JASPEROID IN THE FRACTURE ZONE-MOSTLY WEST-DIPPING. IN EARLY YEARS ORE WERE MINED FROM REPLACEMENTS IN LIMESTONE. THE MINED WAS PRODUCING IN 1951
Comment (Geology): SEE FIELD NOTES BY. TINGLEY (7/13/80) JASPEROID CUTS LS, IS UP TO 40 FT WIDE; WULFENITE XTALSONCALCITE
Comment (Deposit): ORE BODIES ARE REPLACEMENTS OF LIMESTONE IN JASPEROID ALONG FRACTURE ZONE
Comment (Workings): TUNNELS, SHORT SHAFTS, DRIFTS, STOPES, THE 250-FT. JACKSON SHAFT WITH 6 LEVELS
