Comment (Workings): ADIT

Comment (Location): MOEN INDICATES LOCATION AS NW/4 SEC. 31, BUT CLAIM MAP SHOWS ADIT IN SW/4

Comment (Production): TEST SHIPMENT SENT OT TACOMA SMELTER

Comment (Development): PART OF 29 CLAIMS PATENTED BY DR. H.W. COE IN 1905. BY 1900, THE NORWAY ADIT HAD BEEN DRIVEN. WHEN PROPERTY WAS ACQUIRED BY MT ST. HELENS CONSOLIDATED MINING CO., WORK WAS HALTED ON THE NORWAY AND COMMENCED ON THE SWEDEN. THIS WAS THE FIRST PROPERTY WORKED IN THE SPIRIT LAKE AREA

Comment (Deposit): NORWAY VEIN IS UPPER PART OF SWEDEN VEIN. IT IS 10 IN.-4 FT THICK AND CONSISTS OF GOUGE, TALC, BRECCIATED GRANODIORITE, AND QUARTZ. PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE MAY COMPRISE AS MUCH AS 25% OF VEIN MATERIAL BUT HAS ERRATIC DISTRIBUTION.
