Comments

Comment (Deposit): 10239971 (merged with this record and deleted) gave commodities as gold (major) and silver (trace). Added to this record as is.

Comment (Location): 10239971 gave PLSS location as 42N, 8W, 10, SW4.

Comment (Ownership): 10288771 lists East Ridge Co 1966 as own-op under Bibliographic References.

Comment (Deposit): 10288771 listed gold as the major commodity and copper, silver, zinc, and lead all as trace.

Comment (Location): Old MAS entry 0081110037 appears to have a typo in the latitude minutes of 44 instead of 54. This made it plot too far south in San Juan County, not San Miguel county. Unfortunately, the error has propagated. There are mutliple records available on the internet that refer to the Andrus mine in San Juan County. I have been unable to confirm any such mine in that county. 0081110037 should be deleted.

Comment (Location): (LAND STATUS AND ADMINISTRATIVE AREA LOCATIONS CALCULATED USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS FOR SAN JUAN N. F.). ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :41? 00

Comment (Identification): Old MAS entry 0081110037 says Andrews Mine is a previous name. As this old MAS record is suspect anyway, it may never have been a synonym or misspelling of Andrus Mine.
