Comment (Location): ALONG SAWMILL GULCH ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1976)
Comment (Production): PARTIAL PRODUCTION RECORD. NO PRODUCTION IN 1957. ANNUAL FIGURES FOR 1961-68 NOT AVAILABLE. FIGURES FOR 1955 AND 1960 INCLUDE SMALL AMOUNT OF PRODUCTION FROM QUATMAN LEASE. CUMULATIVE FOR 1955-68 FROM NELSON-MOORE AND OTHERS.
Comment (Deposit): PRINCIPAL VEINS LIE IN JUNCTION RANCH FAULT ZONE CLOSE TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH CHERRY GULCH FAULT. VEINS STRIKE NW AND DIP 20 TO 60 NE AND CUT PREDOMINANTLY BIOTITE-QUARTZ GNEISS. OLDER WORKINGS ON TARGET VEIN: NEWER WORKINGS ON EAST VEIN: BOTH VEINS APPARENTLY BRANCHES IN FOOTWALL OF WNW-STRIKING FAULT. LENTICULAR URANIUM ORE BODIES ARE 1 TO 2 FT WIDE. PITCHBLENDE COATS FRACTURES AND ALTERED BRECCIA FRAGMENTS. STRUCTURAL ZONE ON JUNCTION RANCH FAULT CAN BE INTERPRETED SIMILAR TO BRECCIA REEFS IN RALSTON CREEK DISTRICT TO NORTH.
Comment (Workings): OLDER WORKINGS INCLUDE 55-FT INCLINED SHAFT WITH PRODUCTION LEVELAT 30 FT. NEWER WORKINGS LIE 350 FT TO NORTH AND INCLUDE VERTICAL SHAFT WITH DRIFTS ON 92-FT LEVEL; 70 FT OF DRIFT ON TARGET VEIN, 235 FT OF DRIFTON EAST AND RELATED VEINS, 115 FT OF CROSSCUTS
