Comment (Commodity): largest and finest free gold in Empire district; assays to 0.3 oz/t gold and 42 oz/t silver.
Comment (Geology): Vein strikes ENE, pyritic gold type.
Comment (Location): About 1-1/3 miles S 75 W of Empire on the north slope of Lincoln Mountain. Numerous adits in SW/4 sec.29 and NW/4 sec.32, T3S, R74W.
Comment (Production): Upper adit produced ore of exceptionally high grade, but no record of production was found.
Comment (Workings): Two adits, one 700 feet above the other, on 5 patented claims.
