Comment (Development): THE TELFAIR IS ONE OF A GROUP OF CLAIMS FORMERLY BELONGING TO THE ARIZONA AND MICHIGAN MINING CO.

Comment (Workings): A SHAFT 250 FT DEEP WAS SUNK WHILE EXPLORING FOR COPPER IN THE EARLY 1900'S. A SHAFT OF 80 FT DEEP WAS SUNK IN THE 1950'S ON THE MANGANESE VEIN WHILE PROSPECTING FOR SILVER. MOST OF THE MANGANESE WAS MINED FROM SHALLOW OPEN CUTS.
