Comment (Deposit): THE PROPERTY WAS STAKED IN 1951 BY W.C. WEAVER. THE MINE WAS OPERATED IN 1952 AND 1953 BY THE DON DANVERS URANIUM CO. OF UTAH THE WORKINGS CONSIST OF AN OPENCUT ALONG THE LEDGE FORMED BY ORE BEARING SANDSTONE OF THE SALT WASH MEMBER. AN ADIT ENTER BASE OF THE SANDSTONE AND EXTENDS 50FEET. NEAR THE END A SEC DRIFT BRANHES OFF AND EXTENDS 60FT, AND ALONG ITS NORTHWEST ARE SEVERAL SMALL ROOMS. THE DEPOSIT COVERS AN AREA ABOUT 40 AND 100FT LONG. THE AVERAGE GRADE OF ORE PRODUCED WAS 1.46% AND 0.34% U308 THE KEY SOURCE OF INFORMATION FOR THE YIP YIP MINE WAS USGS PAPER 508
