THE CLAIMS PRODUCED 163 TONS OF ORE ING .145% U308 DURING NOV. 1958. RESULTING FROM DMEA DRILLIN DEPOSIT CONTAINING 13000 TONS AVERAGING .12-.15% U308 WAS ES .THE CLAIMS WERE CONTROLLED AT THE TIME OF THE DMEA REPORT B J URANIUM AND EXPLORATION CO., OF COLO. INCLUDED IN THE DMEA ARE LOCATION, CLAIM, AND GEOLOGIC MAPS. THE DMEA REPORT DID PROPOSE FURTHER EXPLORATION ON THE CLAIMS. MILLS LOCATED IN CITY AND GUNNISON, COLO., ARE EACH ABOUT 75 ROAD MILES FROM CLAIMS. INFORMATION FROM PRR-2367, DATED 1955. RADIOACTIVITY: 10XBG AT THE TIME OF THE REPORT: 10 TONS OF ORE SHIPPED TO MONTICE UTAH ASSAYED .19% U308; 20 TONS OF ORE HAD BEEN STOCKPILED; CONSISTED OF 375 FT OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS.
