Comment (Location): Political location in record is Beaverhead county. However, original lat/long plots two counties away in Powell county. Original coordinates were: lat/long NAD27 46-17-49N 112-57-19W (46.2969 -112.9553); UTM N5128680 E349406 Z12N; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 006 S, RNG 011 W, Sect 21, Sect_fract NWNWSE. The PLSS coordinates lie exactly 1 degree south in Beaverhead county. This agrees with the mineral district name listed in the record, Argenta. The reporter likely mis-typed the latitude degrees. So it was changed to 45-17-49N to agree with the PLSS coordinates.
