Comment (Deposit): THE CLEAR CREEK DEPOSIT CONTINAS HIGH BENCH GRAVEL THAT IS ABOUT 15M THICK WITH A VOLUME OF MORE THAN A MILLION CUBIC YARDS. THE VALLEY CONTAINS SEVERAL MILLION CUBIC YARDS OF LOW BENCH GRAVELS ALONG THE CREEKS. THE DEPOSITS ARE ON HOMESTEAD ENTRY SURVEY 371. IN A TRENCH, MOST OF THE GRAVEL EXPOSED HAS A GOLD CONTENT VALUE OF LESS THAN 0.004G/M3. THE BOTTOM 0.8M HAS A VALUE OF 1.06G/M3. RECONNAISSANCE SAMPLE, TAKEN NEAR MIDDLE OF THE SECTION, SHOWED A VALUE OF 0.117G/M3. ON THIS DEPOSIT, CLEAR CREEK NO. 1 PLACER CLAIM WAS REPORTED LY LOCATED 2.4 KM. UP CLEAR CREEK.
