WORKINGS CONSIST OF THE UPPER ADIT(LUKE) 612 FT LONG, WITH A RAISE TO THE SURFACE AND A SMALL STOPE; SEWECAL ADIT, 550 FT LONG; 23 TRENCHES EXPOSING THE BEDS AT INTERVALS ALONG MORE THAN 10000 FT OF OUTCROP; AND DIAMOND DRILLING. MOST OF WORK DONE BY BUNKER HILL COMPANY 1960-62. UPPER ADIT: RETORT MEMBER STRIKES N35W, DIP45NE; BED IS 2.3 FT THICK AT 36.8% P205, 5.9 FT THICK AT 25.9% P205. SENECAL ADIT IN 1932 SHIPPED 3 CARS OF ORE AT 36.6% P205, MINED BED 28 INCHS WIDE. 20000 LONG T OF ORE WERE BLOCKED OUT, ESTIMATED RESERVES TOTALED ANOTHER 80000 LONG T. BED IS BROKEN BY MANY FAULTS. BUNKER HILL FOUND 20000-85000 TONS OF ORE COVEREDD BY10-40 FT OF OVERBURDEN. THEY ABANDONED AREA AFTER THOROUGH EXPLORATION SHOWED ORE COULD NOT BE MINED UNDERGROUND WITHOUT EXCESSIVE DILUTION, AND NOT ENOUGH ORE WAS PRESENT TOMINE BY OPEN PIT.
