Comment (Environmental Factors): NO MILL TAILINGS WERE OBSERVED AT THIS SITE DURING THE INVESTIGATION. TWO DISCHARGING ADITS WERE IDENTIFIED AT THE SITE. MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVELS FOR CADMIUM AND NICKEL WERE EXCEEDED IN BOTH DISCHARGES; ADDITIONALLY, THE MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVEL FOR ANTIMONY WAS EXCEEDED IN THE LOWER ADIT. MIDDLE FORK MILL CREEK WAS FLOWING ADJACENT TO THE SITE ON THE SOUTH SIDE. SURFACE WATER AND SEDIMENT SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM FROM THE SITE IN MIDDLE FORK MILL CREEK. NO MAXIMUM CONTAMINANT LEVELS WERE EXCEEDED. AN OBSERVED RELEASE TO MIDDLE FORK MILL CREEK WAS DOCUMENTED FOR ZINC. ADDITIONALLY, OBSERVED RELEASES TO MIDDLE FORK MILL CREEK (SEDIMENT) WERE DOCUMENTED FOR LEAD AND ZINC.
