Original coordinates were: lat/long NAD27 45-57-25N 111-53-30W (45.9569 -111.8917); UTM N5089432 E430900 Z12N; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 002 N, RNG 010 W, Sect 06, Sect_fract E2. This well known mining district is located exactly 1 degree west of the original coordinates, so the longitude was changed by one degree to 112.8917W and the county name was changed to Silver Bow.
