Comment (Deposit): THE BUREAU OF MINES DRILLED BEACH SANDS FROM ABOUT 1.5 MILES NORTH OF BOONE CREEK TO DAMON POINT, AND IN THE VICINITY OF THE SPIT EAST OF ARMSTRONG BAY. THE GREATEST VALUES (2-3% ILMENITE) WERE FOUND ON THIS SPIT; THE LOCATION OF THIS IS RECORD IS PLACED ON THIS SPIT.
