Comments

Comment (Deposit): ALSO IN SECTIONS 14 AND 15, SAME TOWNSHIP AND RANGE. LAST PRODUCTION WAS SOMETIME AFTER 1969.

Comment (Production): GRADES OF ORE MINED BY OPEN PIT IN 1918-40: 3.47% CU, 2.07 TR OZ/ST AG, 0.071 TR OZ/ST AU.

Comment (Geology): HOST FORMATIONS ARE THE TUFFACEOUS SEDIMENTS OF THE GRAPEVINE GULCH AND AN UNNAMED QUARTZ PORPHYRY. BOTH ARE REPLACED BY SEDIMENTS. RHYOLITE IS FOUND NEAR THE ORE, AND GABBRO FORMS THE HANGING WALL. "BLACK SCHIST" (CHLORITE ROCK) REPLACED THE QTZ. PORPHYRY AND CONTAINS ORE. ANDESITE DIKES INTRUDED THE OTHER ROCK TYPES. ALTERATION ALSO INCLUDES CHLORITIZATION.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): GRADES GIVEN IN REFERENCE ARE AS FOLLOWS: 12 LB/ST CU, 7% ZN, 4 LB/ST PB, 2 TR OZ/ST AG, AND 0.02 TR OZ/ST AU.
