Comment (Deposit): THIS IS THE TAILING FROM THE HOLDEN MILL AT THE HOLDEN MINE (0530070001). THE AREA IS BEING REHABILITATED. A LAYER OF SAND AND GRAVEL HAS BEEN PLACED OVER THE TAILINGS AND VEGETATION PLANTED TO STABILIZE THE TAILINGS (WIND BORN PARTICULATES WERE A PROBLEM. THE BUREAU (SPOKANE RESEARCH) DRILLED HOLES IN THE TAILINGS TO PUT IN MONITOR WELLS IN 1994.
