Comment (Reserve-Resource): M1C1=R1 MINUS 36900MT (1977 PRD). 36900 MT ORE MINED IN 1977 BEFORE MINE CLOSED IN JULY 1977. ORE RESERVES ASSUMED TO BE LOCATED ON LOWEST LEVELS. ASSAY GRADES OF GOLD AND SILVER ESTIMATED USING BUMINES 1977 PRODUCTION DATA. M9C4=R1 MINUS 36900MT (1977 PRD)

Comment (Economic Factors): MINE TRANS COST INCLUDED IN MINE OPERATING COSTS.

Comment (Geology): THE BRUCE DEPOSIT IS A MASSIVE, PYRITIC, ZINC-COPPER DEPOSIT STRATABOUND IN STEEPLY DIPPING PRECAMBRIAN (1.8 BILLION YRS OLD) METAMORPHIC VOLCANICS. MASSIVE SULFIDES OCCUR IN SERICITIC SCHIST (BEDDED-TUFF ORIGINALLY) AT TOPS OF ANDESITIC FLOWS. THE DICK RHYOLITE IS A MEMBER OF THE BRIDLE FM. THE BRIDLE FM CONSISTS PRIMARILY OF METAMORPHOSED ANDESITE TO BASALTIC FLOWS, TUFFS, AND VOLCANOGENIC SEDIMENTS. THE DICK RHYOLITE IS A RHYOLITE EXTRUSIVE THAT HAS BEEN METAMORPHOSED TO A FOLIATED QUARTZ-SERICITE SCHIST.

Comment (Production): THE OLD DICK DEPOSIT IS IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE BRUCE DEPOSIT. THIS DEPOSIT WAS DISCOVERED IN 1882. THE BURIED BRUCE DEPOSIT WAS DISCOVERED IN 1964 AND THOUGHT TO BE A DEEPER EXTENSION OF THE OLD DICK DEPOSIT. CYPRUS GEOLOGISTS NOW BELIEVE THEY ARE TWO DISTINCT, BUT SIMILAR DEPOSITS.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): THE BRUSE MINE HAS BEEN CLOSED SINCE 1977.
