Comment (Names): Name changed in 1980 to Silver State Mining Co.

Comment (Development): Monte Cristo Mining and Milling Co. built the mill in 1977 and processed ore and dump material from several mines in the Alma area until 1982, producing gold, silver, and base metal concentrates.

Comment (Development): The mill has been dismantled.

Comment (Location): The mill is adjacent to CO Highway 9, about 1 mile north of Alma in W/2 sec 1, T 9 S, R 78 W.
