Comments

Comment (Location): Political location in record is Lewis and Clark county. However, lat/long plots 200 m inside adjacent Jefferson county. Original coordinates are: lat/long NAD27 46-25-15N 112-18-5W (46.4208 -112.3014); UTM N5141411 E399994 Z12N; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 008 N, RNG 006 W, Sect 25, Sect_fract C NW. PLSS coordinates agree with the original lat/long. Duplicate record 10015883 lat/long lies 400 m to the NE but also contains conflicting location information. In view of the conflicting evidence and the proximity to the county line, the location was left in Jefferson county and Jefferson county was added to the county name and promoted to first place.
