Comment (Deposit): ALTERNATE NAME LISTED AS SHERMAN MILL AND RESURRECTION MILL: AN OTHER RESURRECTION MILL HAS MAS SEQ 0080650338: THESE MAY BE DUPLICATE FILES.
Comment (Development): Constructed in the late-1960s, the mill processed ore from the Sherman mine from 1974 to 1984; later it was expanded and renovated to process ore from the Diamond-Resurrection mine, though little ore from there was processed.
Comment (Location): Mill is at Stringtown, about 1 mile SW of Leadville, in sec. 27, T 9 S, R 80 W.
Comment (Production): About 1 million ounces of silver, plus lead and zinc(?), was recovered annually from ore from the Sherman mine, 1974-1984. (Sunshine files, 2000)
