Comment (Deposit): INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM DMEA REPORT, DOCKET NO. 2752. DATE REPORT IS 1953. AT THE TIME OF THE REPORT, THE CLAIMS WHICH THEN CONTROLLED BY THE ATOMIC ENERGY URANIUM CO., INC., COLO PRODUCED A SMALL AMOUNT OF URANIUM ORE IN THE PERIOD 1872-19 MINE WAS AN EARLY GOLD PRODUCER WITH DEVELOPED MINE FACILITI THE TIME OF THE REPORT, THOSE FACILITIES WERE IN POOR REPAIR FLOODING AND CAVING. PITCHBLENDE DEPOSITS AT THE 300-FT. LEV THE DEPOSITS UNDER CONSIDERATION THOUGH SMALL AND ERRATIC IN ANCE. THE DMEA REPORT CONCLUDED THAT FURTHER EXPLORATION OF FT. LEVEL WOULD BE JUSTIFIED SHOULD THE APPLICANT ACCEPT A R PROGRAM. IT WAS NOT STATED IF THE APPLICANT ACCEPTED THE PRO INCLUDED IN THE DMEA REPORT ARE CLAIM, LOCATION AND MINE MAP CLAIMS ARE LOCATED ON THE 7-1/2 MINUTE MAP, CENTRAL CITY.
