Comments

Comment (Deposit): ORE HOSTED IN FRACTURES AND PARTIALLY REPLACED PALEOZOIC LIMESTONE.

Comment (Location): A.B. Wilson unable to verify location based on references. The only place I found Holbrook mentioned is in Bull. 1261F, p. 113. It is not shown on any of the plates though is considered part of "Group J" on fig. 17, p. 110. It is possible that this site could be either samples 142-144 or 145-149 on MLA 19-85, pl. 2. The location is probably accurate within about 2 km.

Comment (Deposit): Reference to CRIB # DC01912

Comment (Deposit): No mention of Holbrook in MLA 2-92. MRDS record DC01912 is no longer in the database.

Comment (Names): A.B. Wilson unable to verify any of the alternative names. Holbrook, Mary Murphy, and Silver Reef are the only names mentioned as past producers in the Cave Basin area in Steven and others, 1969, Bull. 1261-F, p. 113.
