Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Location): A 392-acre group of properties including several of the noted mines (Seven-Thirty, Bismarck, Dives-Pelican, and Wisconsin-Corry City) just north of Silver Plume, S/2 sec. 13, T 4 S, R 75 W.
Comment (Production): Mines in the group are credited with $12 to $15 million production, chiefly silver and lead by 1900, and a relatively small production since then.
Comment (Reserve-Resource): Sunshine files contain older (1903) reports that may have dated or optimistic resource estimates of more than 1.5 million tons of ore, stope fill, and dump material.
