Comments

Comment (Commodity): Samples from mines in the Yukon group assayed anomalous values of base and precious metals. (Sunshine files, 1975)

Comment (Geology): Veins in fissure zones in Precambrian granite, and schist and gneiss. Silver, and some gold and lead, were the main products of the district.

Comment (Location): A 900-acre property on Sugarloaf Mountain, SW of Turquoise Lake, about 6 miles WNW of Leadville, in or near sec 14(?), T 9 S, R 81 W. Mines in the Yukon group are nearby in secs 13, 24, and 25.

Comment (Names): Mines associated with the Yukon group include Atlas, Edna M., Fanchon, Tiger, T.L. Walsh,and Siwatch.
