ASPHALTITE CONTAINS MINUTE CRYSTALS OF THORITE AND ANATASE AND IS UNUSUAL IN THAT RADIOACTIVITY CAUSED BY TH RATHER THAN U. DEPOSIT MAY HAVE BEEN DETRITAL HEAVY-MINERAL CONCENTRATION PREFERENTIALLY ATTACKED BY ASPHALTITE OR OTHER SOLUTIONS.
