Comment (Deposit): THIS WAS THE FIRST DISCOVERY IN GALENA CANYON AND WAS LOCATED BY MCBETH & FOX IN 1867. EARLY RICH PRODUCTION OCCURRED IN 1870'S, AND MORE ORE WAS PRODUCED FROM 1935 TO 1940, SPORADICALLY. WORKINGS INCLUDE SEVERAL SHALLOW SHAFTS OPEN CUTS AND 600 FT. OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS.
