Comments

Comment (Deposit): BRECCIATED, RECEMENTED VEIN QUARTZ ALONG FAULT ZONE CUTTING SILICIFIED RHYOLITE(?) WALLROCK IS LACED WITH BANDED CHALCEDONIC QUARTZ; ROCK IN WALLS OF STRUCTURE IS GREEN FROM PROPYLITIC ALTERATION BRECCIA FRAGMENT IN VEIN ARE SILICIFIED, IN MATRIX OF CHALCEDONIC QUARTZ; OPEN SPACES COATED WITH ACICULAR QUARTZ CRYSTALS. SOME LAMELLAR QUARTZ AFTER CALCITE PRESENT; SOME QUARTZ MAY HAVE REPLACED ORIGINAL ADULARIA CRYSTALS(?) TRACES OF FE OXIDES AND MN STAIN. ZONE IS EXPOSED FOR ABOUT 1000 FT ALONG STRIKE; SILICIFIED BRECCIA ZONE IS UP TO 10-15 FT THICK. AN FE-OXIDE STAINED ZONE IN THE IMMEDIATE FOOTWALL OF THE STRUCTURE HAS BEEN STOPED IN ONE AREA. RICHEST ORE WAS FOUND FARTHEST EAST.

Comment (Development): 4 FULL CLAIMS (1912) ALONG STRIKE OF THE VEIN FOR 6750 FT

Comment (Workings): 1 SHAFT, SEVERAL ADITS, PROSPECT PITS, STOPES IN ONE AREA ON STRUCTURE, DRILL HOLE COLLARS AND DRILL CORE PRESENT; DRILLING DONE WITHIN PAST 10 YEARS. IN 1912, THE PROPERTY HAD 3 TUNNELS 130 FT, 48 FT AND 25 FT LONG.

Comment (Geology): ADITS SHOWN ON TOPO MAP ARE ALL DRIVEN PERPENDICULAR TO THE VEIN, AND ALL CROSS-CUT THE STRUCTURE SHAFT WAS SUNK DOWN-DIP. WATER LEVEL IS JUST A FEW FT BELOW ADIT LEVEL. STREAM FLOWS ALONG N SIDE OF THE VEIN, AND THE SLOPING VEIN SURFACE FORMS A STEEP S WALL OF THE CANYON HERE.

Comment (Location): ACCESSIBLE BY POOR JEEP TRAIL FROM MEADOW VALLEY WASH. ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :1972

Comment (Production): FROM THE PHIL DOLAN LEASE ON THE PROPERTY, SHIPPED TO THE GARFIELD PLANT, SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, IN 5 LOTS, 1933-1935

Comment (Deposit): FOOTWALL OF THE FAULT ZONE IS EXPOSED FOR A VERTICAL HEIGHT OF 300 FT OR MORE, COVERED WITH HARD QUARTZ WHERE SILICIFICATION HAS OCCURRED ALONG THE FAULT. ; INFO.SRC : 3 FIELD OBSERV
