Comment (Production): MCANULTY, W.N., 1978, REPORTED 100 TONS OF FLUORITE PRODUCED FROM THE BISHOP CAP MINE IN 1944; 12 TONS OF FLUORITE PRODUCED FROM THE BLUE STAR PROSPECT IN 1954; AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF SUBGRADE FLUORSPAR SOLD FROM THE GRANT PROSPECT FROM 1969 TO 1972.

Comment (Development): MOST OF THE DISTRICT IS CONTROLLED BY ALLIED CHEMICAL CORP. BUT THE GRANT PROSPECT IS OWNED BY J.F. GRANT AND THE BLUE STAR GROUP IS OWNED BY F.C. LEACH. INVESTIGATED AND TRENCHED BY USBM IN 1945. RANGAIRE CORP. CONDUCTED A LIMITED CORE DRILLING PROGRAM IN 1969. ALLIED CHEMICAL CORP. DRILLED SEVERAL PERCUSSION HOLES IN U975.

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSITS OCCUR IN IRREGULAR JASPEROIDAL REPLACEMENTS AND FISSURE VEINS ALONG FRACTURES AND FAULTS. MORE THAN 18 UNPATENTED CLAIMS.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1966 CONSISTED OF FIVE ADITS RANGING FROM 30 FT. TO 90 FT. IN LENGTH, TWO SMALL OPENCUTS AND MORE THAN 15 TRENCHES.
