Comment (Deposit): VEINS CROSSING THE PROPERTY INCLUDE THE BUCKEYE, GREAT EASTERN, FOOTWALL, RIGBY VEIN (HIGH SILVER CONTENT), NORTH VEIN, IRON KING, DEWEY; MAIN ORE SHOOT 6 TO 7 FT WIDE.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS INCLUDE BLACK OXIDE ADIT (SOURCE OF EARLY PRODUCTION, 1054 FT) GARDNER SHAFT (435 FT), MCGRAW SHAFT (1400 FT), GREAT EASTERN SHAFT (444 FT), LIMESTONE SHAFT AND SUPERIOR AND BOSTON SHAFT.

Comment (Geology): BEST ORE IS FOUND WHERE MESCAL LIMESTONE FORMS THE HANGING WALL AND DRIPPING SPRINGS QUARTZITE FORMS THE FOOTWALL OF THE FAULT. DIABASE OVERLIES THESE FORMATIONS AT MINE. FOR DETAILS OF COMPLEX GEOLOGIC RELATIONS IN MINE AREA, SEE USGS PP 342, PLATE 1.
