Comments

Comment (Deposit): FISSURE VEIN RUNS N-S FOR MUCH OF ITS LENGTH BUT TURNS TOWARD THE EAST AT ITS NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN ENDS; VEIN SHOWS 5 ORE SHOOTS, AND NUMEROUS CROSS VEINLETS; THERE ARE ALSO PLACER DEPOSITS ON THE PROPERTY. VEIN WIDTHS VARY FROM 18 INCHES TO 6 FT. ORANGE-YELLOW SCALES ON A FRACTURE PLANE ASSOCIATED WITH CUPRODESCLOIZITE.

Comment (Workings): MINE IS DEVELOPED BY A 528 FT TUNNEL CUTTING THE VEIN ALONG ITS FULL LENGTH, A TWO COMPARTMENT SHAFT DOWN 200 FT WITH 40 FT OF DRIFTS, AND A 40 FT TUNNEL; THE MAIN TUNNEL CONTAINS 3 RAISES CONNECTING IT TO THE SURFACE AND 3 WINZES OF 110, 45 AND 145 FT; THERE ARE ALSO NUMEROUS PITS AND TRENCHES ON THE SURFACE

Comment (Geology): DIORITE HAS A UNIFORM TEXTURE, IS COARSE-GRAINED, AND IS CUT BY A COMPLEX SET OF DIKES AND FAULT FISSURES. SEE CONWAY THESIS (1976) FOR REGIONAL GEOLOGY.

Comment (Deposit): THIS RECORD CONTAINS DATA FROM DUPLICATE RECORDS TC10279 AND TC00279 OF M.M. CARBONARO, M030443 OF J.A. PETERSON , AND D000076 OF R.P. FISCHER WHICH HAVE BEEN DELETED FROM MAIN MRDS. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
