Comments

Comment (Location): INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1978)

Comment (Production): A FEW TONS OF CONCENTRATE WERE PRODUCED IN THE LATE 1930'S AND IN THE LATE 1950'S.

Comment (Deposit): 2 PARALLEL QUARTZ VEINS, 17 FT APART , AVERAGE WIDTH 8 IN.

Comment (Development): PREVIOUS OPERATORS INCLUDED O'QUINN AND J. BINKLEY. FIVE UNPATENTED CLAIMS. PLANNED TO SINK NEW 100 FT SHAFT IN 1941

Comment (Workings): 1 LOWER ADIT MORE THAN 40 FT LONG, 2 UPER ADITS OF SAME LENGTH 50 FT HIGHER, 1 30 FT ADIT FURTHER EAST. MINED BY COYOTING.

Comment (Geology): NO DETAILED GEOLOGIC MAP, BUT MAPPING TO N SHOWS NE STRIKING PRECAMBRIAN SEDIMENTS AND INTRUSIVE ROCKS (GASTIL, 1958). THE SILICIFIED DIORITE PORPHYRY INTRUDES ORE-CONTAINING VEINS, WHICH IN TURN CUT ROCKS OF THE APACHE SERIES.

Comment (Deposit): THIS RECORD CONTAINS DATA FROM DUPLICATE RECORD D000763 OF J.E. ELLIOTT WHICH HAS BEEN DELETED FROM MAIN MRDS. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
