Comment (Location): REPUBLIC MINE JOINS WITH UNION HILL MINE

Comment (Workings): MINED TO A DEPTH OF 100 M. BY EXTENSIVE UNDERGROUND WORKINGS AND OPENCUTS.

Comment (Development): COULD HAVE BEEN MINED IN EARLY 1800'S FOR FLUX.
