Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE VEINS HAVE AVERAGE THICKNESS OF 20 FT FOOTWALL DIORITE, HANGING WALL TALCOSE SLATE. WELL DEVELOPED ALBITE CRYSTALS FOUND IN WINTERS VEIN. SEVERAL VEINS ARE PRESENT, WHICH ALL HAVE SIMILAR ATITUDES.

Comment (Workings): UNDERGROUND DEVELOPMENTS STARTED 1822 WITH 600 FT SHAFT. NUMEROUS SHAFTS, DRIFTS WINZES AND CROSSCUTS. STOPES VARY FROM 100 TO 200 FT IN LENGTH. LAST ORE MINED FROM 200 , 400 AND 500 FT LEVELS. MAIN SHAFT 850 ANGELS SHAFT WITH 600 FT CRYSTAL SHAFT TO SW. TWO VEINS E. AND W. HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED
