Comment (Location): LOCATED IN NE 1/4 SECTION 29

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: POCKETS OF MANGANESE OXIDE IN MASSIVE, YELLOW TO WHITE CHERT AND META CHERT, PARTLY RECRYSTALLIZED TO FINE GRAINED QUARTZITE AND CUT BY 1 TO 6 INCH QUARTZ VEINS. THE CHERT IS ENCLOSED IN BUFF TO GRAY SLATE OR PHYLLITE. POCKETS OF OXIDE ARE A FEW INCHES TO A FOOT THICK. MOST ORE IS POROUS PYROLUSITE, SOME PSILOMELANE, AND MANGANITE (?). QUARTZ VEINS TREND N 55 W AND DIP 20 TO 25 SW, AND CONTAIN VUGS WITH CRYSTALS UP TO AN INCH LONG AND 1/2 INCH THICK.
