Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: SMALL TIN-BEARING, IRON-RICH TACTITE ABOUT SIX FT. LONG AND 18 INCHES WIDE IS EXPOSED AT CONTACT BETWEEN LIMESTONE AND GRANITE. MINERALS ARE MAGHEMITE, MAGNETITE, LUDWIGITE, AND ALTERED AMPHIBOLE (PROBABLY ANTHOPHYLLITE). THEY ARE COATED WITH MANGANESE OXIDE, HAVE FIBROUS STRUCTURE, AND ARE ASSOCIATED WITH MAGNETITE, ARSENOPYRITE AND MOLYBDENITE. CASSITERITE OCCURS AS DISSEMINATED GRAINS. SOME TIN MAY BE IN LUDWIGITE AND OTHER MINERALS.
