Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF TWO INCLINED SHAFTS AND AN ADIT. SHAFTS ARE INCLINED TO FOLLOW THE VEIN. ADIT HAS AN INTERNAL SHAFT AT ENTRANCE. FLOOR OF ADIT IS FORMED OF WOODEN PLANKS, INDICATING THAT ENTIRE VEIN WASREMOVED BY MINING.

Comment (Geology): RHYOLITE IS EITHER A FLOW OR AN ASH-FLOW TUFF, DISTINCTION NOT MADE. RHYOLITE CONTAINS LARGE QUARTZ AND FELDSPAR PHENECRYSTS

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF A VUGGY, BANDED QUARTZ AND CALCITE VEIN. VEIN CONTAINS DISSEMINATED PYRITE, FE-OXIDES, AND ABUNDANT MANGANESE STAINING. ADJACENT HOST ROCK IS SILICIFIED, LOCALLY BRECCIATED, AND CUTY BY QUARTZ VEINLETS
