Comment (Orebody): Sherman vein is a split from the Union vein which extends SW through Hidden Treasure ground to connect with Tiger-Poorman vein. The Sherman vein may also be a SE extension of the Custer Vein of the Tamarack and Custer mine.

Comment (Production): Ore tonnage and recovered metas as reported by Mitchell and Bennett (1983) from US Bureau of Mines data; grades from Day Mines, Inc. data.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): According to Shenon and others (1954) much low grade lead ore remains on the Sherman vein.
