Comment (Location): LOCATED IN SE 1/4 SW 1/4 SECTION 22 , BUT MINE SYMBOL ON POTTER VALLEY ADVANCE PRINT IN SW 1/4 SE 1/4 , UTM APPROX

Comment (Production): SMALL PRODUCTION. IDLE. THE ORE OF THIS DEPOSIT CONTAINS 50 PERCENT MANGANESE AND LESS THAN 5% SILICA. THREE TONS TAKEN OUT REPRESENTED THE ENTIRE VOLUME OF THE ORE LENS.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: LENSES ENCLOSED IN THIN BEDDED RADIOLARIAN CHERT. ORE IS UNDERLAIN BY MASSIVE RED CHERT WITH RADIOLARIAN SKELETONS, WHICH IS STAINED IN JOINTS AND FRACTURES BY MANGANESE OXIDE. ORE ZONE IS PARALLEL TO BEDDING IN THIN BEDDED SCHIST, STRIKING N. 20 E., DIPPING 50 E. ORE IS STEEL GRAY WITH DULL METALLIC LUSTER, LARGELY PSILOMELANE WITH THIN PARTINGS OF SOFT BLACK OR REDDISH MATERIAL.
