Comment (Workings): HIGH CLAY CONTENT OF ORE MATERIAL HAS CAUSED THE HEAP TO HAVE A VERY LOW PERMEABILITY, RESULTING IN LOWER THAN EXPECTED GOLD RECOVERY. THE DATA WERE COMPILED FROM U.S. BUREAU OF MINES FILES.

Comment (Production): HEAP LEACH OPERATION. 1988 AU PROD.= 50,000 OZ. 1989 AU PROD. = 26,273 OZ. FROM 657,390 MT ORE. 1989 RESERVE = ONLY 29,000 OZ AU. HEAP LEACH OPERATION RECOVERED 7405 T OZ GOLD IN 1994.
