Comments

Comment (Identification): This is an Unknown site, not part of the Umslopagus Group. It was misidentified in the original MAS database (0560070403) as Umslopagus because it is after that site in Bull. 50 but identified only by PLSS location and no name. A.B. Wilson changed the name of this record from Umslopagus to Unknown.

Comment (Deposit): "A 40-ft shaft sunk into an orthoamphibolite dike cut by a quartz-feldspar vein, 8 to 18 inches wide shows chaclpyrite and minor bornite near the contact. Most of mineralization occurs in fractures." (Bull. 50, p. 50.)
