Comment (Deposit): LOCATED ON NE SIDE OF TROUT CREEK; 1 MILE SE OF THE SUNSET MINE. INDEX MINING DISTRICT. ASSAYS ARE REPORTED TO HAVE SHOWN 1.14% COBALT. ORE MINERALS: CHALCOPYRITE, BORNITE, PYRITE, CHALCOCITE, AND MALACHITE. GANGUE: QUARTZ, ALTERED GRANODIORITE. DEPOSIT: 4 SPARSELY MINERALIZED SHEAR ZONES IN GRANODIORITE FROM 1 TO 20 FT WIDE. DEVELOPMENT: SEVERAL OPEN CUTS AND 520 METERS OF ADIT WITH DRIFTS.
