Comments

Comment (Production): The Exact Percent Of Recovery Is 97.5.

Comment (Production): Some Ore Shipments Were Made From 1928-1931, 1943-45. The Mine Was Open As A National Defense Project.

Comment (Production): Production Was Planned To Commence In Late 1988. Property File Reviewed And Minor Update Dec. 1992.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): M1c5=R1 Probable Reserve From E&Mj, Feb 1992, P.C9.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): The Van Dyke Shaft Is Currently Flooded And Permitting Is Ongoing (1995).

Comment (Development): Discovered by drilling. The original owner of this property was Cleve Van Dyke. Van Dyke copper owned many claims throughout Miami area, but produced only from the Van Dyke shaft. Drilling on this deposit began 1925 and it is one of the deepest deposits in the district. Kocide mining corp. suspended in-situ leaching operations at this site in 1990 due to iron build up in the recycled leach solution; they had been producing cement copper since 1988.

Comment (Ownership): In an April 8, 2010 press release, Bell Copper Corporation announced their intention to purchase the Van Dyke copper mine. http://www.bellcopper.net/s/News_Releases.asp?ReportID=393999

Comment (Identification): ******SEE related deposit- Cyprus Miami, deposit ID 10186051

Comment (Location): The Deposit Is Almost Entirely Under The Town Of Miami
