Comment (Workings): SURFACE AREA DISTURBED: 12 ACRES INCLINE SHAFT N 16 DEG W AT 69 DEG NW IS 52 FT DEEP. SHAFT IS NOT CONNECTED WITH UNDERGROUND WORKINGS.

Comment (Geology): THE QUARTZITE BEING MINED IN THE ADIT IS A HIGHLY SILICIOUS ROCK THAT IS HIGHLY OXIDIZED. THE INCLINE SHAFT FOLLOWS A VEIN THAT IS SLIGHTLY COPPER STAINED. THE DUMPS SHOW NO APPRECIABLE ORE.
